Cut Pile is a short carpet type look and feel. This type needs to be trimmed or shaved to have an even look. Details take longer to trim between each color.
Loop Pile are tight loops that are still soft but feel more sturdy and dense. This type doesn't need to be shaved or trimmed, but it does take more time during the process.
High Pile uses as least 2 times (or more) the amount of yarn than the regular cut pile. Trimming and shaving is used to even the rug or to give definition.
The price of your rug would depend on the size and detailing. Up to 4 colors and a basic design would be $45 per square foot... check the example, Contact me with questions.
Since more yarn is used, the price is $75 per square foot for up to 4 colors and a basic design. If you're looking for a dramatic design, contact me for a consult.

If you're wanting to make your own rugs, we can suggest different materials and classes that are available online. If you have any other questions, you're welcome to ask.
We will post on social media when we attend community events so you can visit with us. We will share others' events as well on social media.
For long lasting durability, quality, and basically extending the life of your floor rug... it's recommended not to be placed in high traffic areas (front door, bathrooms, mud rooms, outside, etc.). Wall rugs would be better placed higher than the tips of the fingers of the child with the stickiest hands.
With any spills or spots, immediately clean with a mild detergent and gently clean the area... dabbing is best... then air dry. Do not put it in the washer or dyer!
The rug may shed, it doesn't affect the density or quality of the rug. If there's a stray yarn, just trim it off. If the colors happen to blend, use a straight, non sharp, object to put the yarn colors back into place.
Lint roll, hand/gently vacuum, and steam when needed.
